Today we will first make sure the dSLRs are turned back in - Rocky, Laura, and Abdiel.

You have several assignments you are working on. Please review these and be working on them. We have only 7 regular class periods left counting today.

Your newest assignment is to work with aperture. Take shots with large and small depths of field.

• Review 'Photographic Examples of Aperture and Depth of Field'
• Review the 3 photos in the article 'What is Maximum Aperture and Why is it Important'
• Review some of the examples of shutter and aperture speed in the posting 'Aperture and Shutter Speed Examples'

If you are using a point and shoot camera, put your camera in 'macro' mode for a large aperture. Try 'landscape' mode for a small aperture.
