So, as you can see, each author has a different list of composition rules/tips.
The important thing to remember is that these are only guidelines. These rules can be broken if you feel like the shot would be better.
Photo Assignment #2 -
Read over the Rule of Thirds again.
Now go take 3 pictures utilizing this rule, both horizontal and vertical.
If you know how to set the grid lines up on your camera then go ahead and use them. Otherwise, just estimate the lines.
Email your 3 photos to me at mindy.holder@sccc.edu. In the body of the email, identify what your point of interest was for each photo.
